Description
An antique Chinese Yixing zisha octagonal teapot, featuring an unglazed reddish-brown earthenware body. The handle, spout, and finial are sculpted in a naturalistic bamboo or branch-like form and are glazed in a vibrant turquoise. The body is further adorned with applied light green, pink, and blue polychrome enamel decorations depicting floral sprigs and a circular medallion with abstract motifs on one side. Internally, seven small perforations are visible behind the spout, serving as a tea strainer. The base bears an impressed square four-character seal mark, which appears to include the characters `葛順` (Gé Shùn), a name associated with Yixing potters. 10.5cm tall
