A rectangular picture frame crafted from wood, featuring a deeply carved and distressed gold-coloured finish, likely gesso and gilding. Its design incorporates intricate foliate scrolls in high relief and a rope-twist motif along the outer edge, suggestive of a Renaissance or Baroque revival style. The reverse exposes unfinished wood with remnants of an older finish, and a metal hanging loop with string is attached at the top. 20x19cm
