Description
The Mansions of England in the Olden Time by Joseph Nash, published as ‘The Studio Special Winter Number 1905-1906’. This early 20th-century printed book features a cream-coloured cardstock cover and green patterned endpapers. The light-coloured fabric spine is embossed with gold text. Internally, it comprises primarily paper pages with black and white illustrations depicting historical English interiors and exteriors, including ‘ATHELHAMPTON, DORSETSHIRE: THE HALL’ and ‘BURLEIGH, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE: THE STAIRCASE’.
