A collection of ceramic trinket boxes of varying forms and sizes. The group includes two circular vitro-porcelain examples by Villeroy and Boch from the Naif series, featuring folk-art style transfer-printed designs by Gerard Laplau. One lid depicts a winter village scene with a dancing bear and various figures, with the base bearing the printed mark Villeroy and Boch, Naif Christmas, Vitro-Porcelaine, Luxembourg. The second lid features a Noahs Ark illustration, with the base bearing the printed mark Villeroy and Boch, 1748, Luxembourg. The collection also includes an oval fine bone china box featuring pink floral sprays and a gilt-edged rim; the base bears the printed mark Royal Grafton, Fine Bone China, Made in England.
