Description
An Arthur Osborne Ivorex wall plaque featuring a hand-painted, high-relief depiction of ‘The Artful Dodger’ from Charles Dickens’ *Oliver Twist*. The oval, molded resin plaque presents a male figure in period attire, including a vest, trousers, long coat, and hat, rendered with expressive, somewhat caricatured features against a street scene background. The inscription “The Artful Dodger” is visible at the bottom front. The reverse side bears a copyright date of “© 1982” and “Made in England.” The item retains its original braided twine hanger. 12.5cm
