Description
This lot comprises a large collection of mixed flatware and table accessories. The collection includes a quantity of loose flatware housed in a large black plastic container, featuring various traditional patterns including assorted spoons, forks, and knives. Serving implements include a large silver-plated ladle with a beaded edge, a decorative pierced serving knife with ornate floral and scrollwork, a large serving fork with a shell motif at the base of the tines, and several cake slices in both stainless steel and silver-plated finishes. Table accessories feature a set of six silver-toned commemorative coasters or small dishes, each featuring a chased scene of a London landmark including St. Pauls Cathedral, the Statue of Eros, the Tower of London, Nelsons Column, Harrods, and Tower Bridge, all finished with a grape and vine border. Also included is a silver-plated wine coaster with a pierced gallery and a turned wooden base, three small silver-toned pedestal items, and a vintage boxed Corncob Set containing four pairs of forks and stainless steel dishes, marked Made in Hong Kong. Miscellaneous items include a small tea strainer and a small square stainless steel dish. Materials appear to be a mixture of silver plate (EPNS) and stainless steel, with some knife blades bearing the mark Sheffield.
