Description
A mixed group of British ceramic and glass tableware comprising two distinct mid-century sets.
The first set consists of opal glass tableware by JAJ Pyrex, England, in the Snowflake pattern. These pieces feature a white body decorated with a transfer-printed geometric border in blue and grey. The collection includes a gravy boat and a quantity of dinner plates, luncheon plates, and side plates. Bases bear the embossed circular mark for JAJ Pyrex, including JAJ, MADE IN ENGLAND, and various mould numbers such as 395.
The second set is a selection of stoneware from the Parkstone range by Poole Pottery. The design is characterised by a speckled oatmeal glaze and a dark brown rim. This group includes a tall lidded coffee pot, a cream jug, tecups, a cereal bowl, a side plate, and a quantity of saucers. Bases are marked with the printed POOLE ENGLAND PARKSTONE stamp, featuring a dolphin logo and the text DISHWASHER & OVEN PROOF. Some pieces also include the numbers 18 and 73.
