The volumes were primarily published by Fontana Books and Pan Books during the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. The assortment includes various cover art styles, ranging from the graphic, minimalist designs of the early Fontana editions to the more illustrative The Christie Collection series. Visible titles include A Murder is Announced, N or M?, The Hollow, Hickory Dickory Dock, Third Girl, The Body in the Library, Sad Cypress, Postern of Fate, The Sittaford Mystery, Five Little Pigs, The Labours of Hercules, Destination Unknown, The Moving Finger, Murder in the Mews, Elephants Can Remember, Ten Little Niggers, The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding, Murder is Easy, Death Comes as the End, Parker Pyne Investigates, The Listerdale Mystery, Dead Man’s Folly, And Then There Were None, Sparkling Cyanide, The Mystery of the Blue Train, The Big Four, Appointment with Death, The Secret of Chimneys, and Miss Marple’s Final Cases. Several volumes feature promotional tie-in text on the covers, such as Parker Pyne Investigates which notes stories were included in The Agatha Christie Hour television series. The books are all octavo format with original pictorial wrappers.
