Description
A group consisting of four matching electric wall sconces and two coordinating open-frame metal lamp shades, each featuring a foliate and branch design in the French provincial style. The items are marked with labels for the manufacturer Russell and bearing article number 88822. The four wall sconces are finished in a distressed verdigris green paint and are constructed with curved metal stems and leaf motifs. The two larger decorative shades feature a matching leaf-and-branch design but are finished in a cream-coloured distressed paint. All pieces are adorned with clear faceted pear-shaped droplets suspended from the metalwork. Each sconce is fitted with a single E14 Small Edison Screw lamp holder, with stickers stating a maximum wattage of 40W. The units are wired with modern three-core conductors (live, neutral, and earth), though the wiring is cut at the wall plates.
