Description
A late 19th or early 20th-century mahogany Sutherland table. The solid mahogany top is designed with a narrow fixed centre section and two deep drop leaves with canted corners. The table employs a double gateleg action base, with two swing-out legs featuring ring-turned detailing to support the leaves when extended. The central frame consists of two pairs of ring-turned end supports resting on trestle-style feet, which are connected by a single turned stretcher. The gatelegs terminate in small brass and pottery castors. Extended 90x75cm
