Description
A wall mirror of oval form, designed in the mid-20th-century Rococo-revival style. The frame is constructed from cast metal with a dull gilt finish, featuring an ornate pierced border with high-relief scrolling acanthus leaves and prominent floral motifs, including sunflower-style blooms at the top, bottom, and sides. The inner edge of the frame is decorated with a repeating vertical gadrooned pattern. The reverse is fitted with a brown hardboard backing, secured by small metal screws, and is equipped with a single metal ring for hanging. A white adhesive label is attached to the backing with the handwritten numbers 260221, 1621, and 1000015, likely representing internal inventory references. There are no visible maker’s marks or manufacturer’s stamps. 50.5×27.5cm
