Description
A diverse assortment of decorative objects and collectables. The collection includes a large pale-blue opalescent glass bowl in a flower-petal form and a commemorative ceramic plate for Ste Mere-Eglise featuring the insignia of the 101st and 82nd Airborne divisions. Ceramic items comprise a seated female figurine with a fruit basket, a clown figurine, two miniature figures in eighteenth-century style dress, and various pottery vessels including a blue-and-white salt-glaze jug with an incised XV mark and a stoneware vessel with sunburst decoration. Glassware includes a cut glass bowl with starburst patterns and a tall hexagonal smoke glass vase. The lot further contains multiple vintage metal tins, notably for Golden Virginia tobacco and Maison Lyons Toffee, some containing assorted mechanical clock or watch components and metal pins. Additional items include a pocket compass, two sets of boxed cufflinks including one in a case marked John Lewis MEN, and a carved wooden serving set.
