Description
This vintage kitchenware item is a genuine mixing bowl designed for use with a Kenwood Chef food mixer. The bowl is constructed from opaque white opal glass, a type of milk glass manufactured by Pyrex for Kenwood. It features a deep conical form with a flared rim, a small integrated pouring spout, and a tab handle on the opposite side. The base is specifically moulded with a locking lug design intended to secure the bowl to the pedestal of a Kenwood Chef mixer, compatible with various models including the A701 and A901 series. The underside of the bowl features embossed moulded characters reading KENWOOD along the upper curve and PYREX along the lower curve. The bowl is accompanied by its original cardboard box printed in blue and black. The carton text identifies the item as one bowl for use with Kenwood Chef and lists the manufacturer as Kenwood Manufacturing Company Ltd, Havant, Hants, England, a member of the Thorn Group.
